Sheet 9 of 55 from Horst Bartnig's 1985 series '3622 Variationen' — variations 561 through 630 of a computed permutation set, the whole series an exhaustive enumeration no hand would attempt.
15 × 15 cm, edition of 800, hand-numbered and monogrammed "HB 85", the verso typographically titled in German and English. It arrived with a postcard drawn on the verso in a similar motif and with the original envelope — this sheet was posted as mail art.
