Description
Interstices, red exemplifies Vera Molnár’s exploration of geometric systems, repetition, and subtle variation through early generative methods. Composed of translucent red rectangular forms arranged in shifting modular patterns, the work emphasizes the “interstices” — the spaces, gaps, and intervals between shapes — as active elements within the composition. Through layered structures and incremental displacement, Molnár creates a rhythmic tension between order and disruption, allowing the image to oscillate between stability and movement. The vibrant red palette adds warmth and optical intensity to the artist’s characteristically precise and algorithmic visual language.
