Description
Vera Molnar’s Untitled, Hommage à Gabor series pays tribute to a fellow artist and intellectual influence through her distinctive language of geometric experimentation and systematic variation. Using repeated forms, rhythmic structures, and carefully measured disruptions, Molnar transforms simple visual elements into complex patterns that seem to oscillate between order and instability. As in much of her work, she applies rules and controlled deviations—what she often called introducing “1% disorder”—to reveal the expressive potential hidden within structure. The Hommage works are both personal and analytical: acts of dedication that honor artistic dialogue while continuing Molnar’s exploration of perception, chance, and algorithmic thinking.
