Description
The Minotaur as a promotional 7-inch single — the same Moog performance that opens Dick Hyman's 1969 LP, cut for radio rather than for sale. Hyman was a working jazz organist and studio pianist when Command Records put him in front of a Moog; the resulting single became one of the first synthesizer records to reach a broad audience.
The collection also holds the LP pairing it with Topless Dancers of Corfu (MUS.2026.068); this is the promo 45 of the same track, a different object rather than a second copy.
