Description
A hand-pulled serigraph by Dallas John (b. 1945), the Denver printmaker who traded urban planning for the silkscreen studio and built each image from successive layers of hand-cut color separations. The print dates from the run of surrealist editions he produced around 1979–80, a body of work that displaces everyday American machinery and settings into enigmatic, dreamlike scenarios. Like the rest of the series, it was issued as a signed and numbered limited edition.
