Description
From Black Hawk Paint, the series Wagenknecht began in the late 2000s: a consumer drone flies over the canvas under command — take off, barrel roll, land — and the rotor wash drives liquid acrylic across the surface, aviation as brushwork. First shown in bitforms' Shellshock (2014); this canvas dates from 2016, with the series in full flight.
This artwork's bright flourescent pink hasn't faired well and the color has nearly disappeared.
