Description
Sebastian Misiurek is a Brooklyn-based architect and design technologist who co-founded Simplus Design with Arianna Lebed, a studio devoted to digitally designed, 3D-printed furniture and housewares. During the mid-2010s he was closely associated with the MakerBot ecosystem — featured in the company's Innovator Sessions and a resident at its Bold Machines incubator, where he produced the 3D-printed modular wall system SuperMod. This 2015 object, a desktop-scale 3D-printed model of ABB's IRB 140 six-axis industrial robot, reflects that era's practice of translating industrial machines into printable form, though the specific piece is not independently documented online.
