Description
From the artist's catalogue: "tectonic is a program that randomly subdivides rectangular tiles before filling them a hatch at a randomly chosen angle and color." Plotted in Tombow ABT grey, blue, red and yellow on Strathmore Mixed Media 300 gsm paper. Bly described tectonic 1.1 as a breakthrough — his first plot to incorporate multiple colors and layers: "colors bled, unexpected results followed.
