Description
Lenore Edman is co-founder, with Windell Oskay, of Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories, the California workshop behind the AxiDraw pen plotter and the EggBot — machines that became reference tools of the contemporary plotter-art community. Beyond building the machines, Edman has been a longtime documenter and convener of plotter culture through the Evil Mad Scientist blog and its Plotter People meetups; following Bantam Tools' 2024 acquisition of Evil Mad Scientist, she continued that work as the company's COO. This drawing sits within the hands-on practice of an engineer-maker who draws with the machines she helped create.
